A raw yearning to be close to them, even as we hold them.  My maternity and motherhood photography isn’t about hiding stretch marks or covertly breastfeeding in-between photographs. It’s about empowering you, lifting you up, and celebrating your motherhood in all its natural beauty. You’re creating life. You love unconditionally. You are a miracle. And you deserve to be documented as the goddess you are.

THE NEWBORN STAGE OF YOUR BABE'S LIFE IS FLEETING, FRAGILE, AND PRECIOUS. THE FLOOD OF EMOTIONS, THE EXHAUSTION, THE ELATION, THE OVERWHELMING LOVE, THE DESPERATE NEED TO NURTURE AND PROTECT. IT ONLY LASTS A FEW WEEKS, BUT WITHIN THIS NEEDLE OF TIME IS A UNIVERSE.

Your newborn session is designed to be as relaxing and natural as possible. You don’t need to tidy the house, get dressed up, or worry about putting on a show for me. Let's document your perfect little world just as it is. To give you some time to relax, focus on that life-affirming connection with your child, and to breathe it all in.

I'll gently direct you for beautiful, soulful images that will be art in their own right. But most of all I want to preserve the moments of quiet. When your souls are at peace and your connection is at its deepest.

Birth photography tells your story as it happened. It reminds your heart of little toes and cheesy skin. Of your partner who held you through every surge. Of the small hands of your other children who sat by your side and watched you give them a sibling. and Of your midwife, who held space for you, without judgment, to land where you need to.

Birth is emotional, messy, tender, world-moving and frankly…it’s fucking amazing. It is hands down the most incredible day of your and your family's life and whether you choose to give birth at home, in the hospital, or at a birth center, you can count on me to document the day you get to finally bring this new soul earth side.
